The Memory Project

‘The Memory Project’ Launch is this Sunday! Over the last couple weeks we’ve heard from many like you who found out about the project and are eager to learn more on the day.

So what is it really about?
Inspired by the need to capture and share authentic stories of Nigeria and to redefine our oral traditions, Nsibidi Institute is launching ‘The Memory Project’, an oral and visual history project developed to archive Nigeria’s history through people’s voices.

We aim to gather personal histories and photographs that illustrate life in Nigeria from as far back as the 1940s. ‘The Memory Project’ is also enriched with research and interactive elements that use digital and new media technology to engage a wider audience.
We’d love for you to get involved!

Spend the Evening with Us
It all kicks off with the launch where we’ll be adding a welcome twist to your typical Sunday evening. There’ll be light refreshments on the day.

Date: Sunday 6th Sept, 2015
Time: 5PM – 7PM
