Art Forum Africa In Conversation with the collectors

A few weeks ago, we held our second edition of Art Forum Africa in collaboration with the ArtXLagos fair to a thrilling and engaging audience. Art Forum Africa is a discourse initiative founded by myself and art blogger Bukola Oye of The Sole Adventurer blog aimed at creating opportunities for conversations around the visual arts.

The theme for this edition was ‘Who are the African collectors’. Thanks to our panelists Ifeoma Fafunwa, Ngozi Edozien and Moses Ohiomokhahire, we had an illuminating discussion about the effect of collectors on creativity, visibility and market value amongst many things.

Here are a few photographs from the event. We aim to stay more consistent in the new year with a forum every quarter. So please wish us luck
