Open Letter by WanaWana Featuring Titilope

It has been over a year since i started working on my sophomore poetry album and i have to admit, it hasn’t been easy but more importantly i am happy with the results so far. The album will be titled “In memory of forgetting” as when i started recording a lot of the poems, i realized they were all snapshots of memories i had been suppressing for quite sometime. In this work i will be navigating trauma, loss and self renewal and i look forward to sharing it with you once it is all pieced together.

In the meantime, i wanted to share with you a poem that myself and my sister in poetry Titilope collaborated on which will be on the album as well. Hope you enjoy listening and please don’t forget to share it as well.
